An often unarticulated goal of mediation is to create a setting where
people can do their best thinking, even during the emotional turmoil
of conflict. Caucusing can play a key role in achieving this goal,
by means of a powerful process called the “Thinking Environment” developed
by British author Nancy Kline. The presenters will explain the Ten
Components of a Thinking Environment and show how this process can
produce remarkable results in mediations. Presenters: Donna Duquette and John Spiegel
